Simplicity. I find my joy in simple things, Like the gentle patter of raindrops' rings, The morning dew that glistens bright, And the fresh air that brings delight. A cup of Joe to start my day, A soothing warmth that makes me sway, The aroma that fills my soul, And the comfort that makes me whole. Biking through nature's winding path, The rush of wind that brings a laugh, The freedom of movement, the thrill of the ride, And the beauty of the world that's hard to hide. A good book that takes me away, To a world that's far and away, The words that paint a vivid scene, And the escape that makes me feel serene. A soft melody that fills my ears, The rhythm that washes away my fears, The harmony that touches my heart, And the peace that sets me apart. These simple things that bring me joy, Are what make life so much more than just a ploy, For in the mundane, the beauty lies, And in the ordinary, magic thrives. So I cherish these simple pleasures each day, For they remind me of life's sweet bouquet, And in their embrace, I find my bliss, And the joy that's found in simplicity's kiss.

I am a Robot. I am a Robot. A Robot, is I. Computer for brains, and cameras, for eyes. I'm metal and wire, no muscle, nor skin. I have no mouth for talking, but a speaker, built-in. I think in binary code, no real thought can be found. and I fear that my battery is about to shut-

Bloom. I have a love that blooms within, A seed that's grown since we began, But it's too soon to say it out, Too soon to let my heart devout. It's like a rosebud that's not yet bloomed, A secret garden yet to be groomed, A spark that's just begun to ignite, A star that shines but out of sight. I fear to speak my heart's desire, To risk the chance and face the fire, For what if love is not returned, And what if all we have is burned? It's like a bird that's learned to fly, But still afraid to reach the sky, A dream that's almost in my grasp, But fear and doubt still hold me fast. I cherish all we have right now, Our friendship that's a sacred vow, I don't want to risk what we've built, Or lose the love I've always felt. It's like a river that gently flows, A current that brings peace and repose, A sanctuary where we find rest, A bond that's true, that we've been blessed. So I'll wait and let love grow, And trust the timing, go with the flow, I'll cherish what we have today, And hope that love finds a way.

Yearning. I search for that which I cannot name, A feeling that burns like a flame, An ember that glows deep in my heart, A yearning that tears me apart. It's not fame, nor fortune, that I seek, Nor riches or treasures, that I keep, But something that's more elusive and rare, A connection with someone who'll truly care. It's not a tangible thing, that I can touch, Nor a feeling that's easy to clutch, But a sense of completeness, that fills my soul, A puzzle piece that'll make me whole. I've looked in all the wrong places, For this elusive feeling, that erases, All the loneliness and emptiness within, And fills my world with joy and kin. But maybe it's not about searching at all, Maybe it's about being open to the call, Of the universe, and its mysterious ways, And letting love in, in all its endless rays.

Nine. When I die I wish to be an angel, serving by His side. That day is drawing near, I fear, and so I testify. May god forgive my wicked deeds, like watching TV past nine.

Birds Three birds lay dying on the ground, A sparrow, a crow, and a cardinal found. Their feathers dull, their breaths shallow, They knew their fate was coming to follow. Death appeared, cloaked in black, And the birds began to speak without looking back. The crow spoke first, in his usual way, "Death, take me now, for I see only decay." The cardinal chimed in, with a hopeful heart, "Death, do not fear, for life will restart. Take me gently, and my soul will soar, To new beginnings and so much more." The sparrow thought for a moment, then spoke, "Death, take me when the time is right, as a joke. For life is a balance, of good and bad, And in the end, all things make us glad." Death listened, and nodded with a grin, Then took each bird, as their time grew thin. The crow saw only darkness in his fate, While the cardinal felt hope was never too late. The sparrow felt both sadness and joy, For he knew life was a mix of both, and not just a toy. For every ending, a new beginning would arise, And with that, he closed his eyes. In death, the birds learned a valuable lesson, That perspective is key, no matter the situation. For life is not just good or bad, but a mix of the two, And in every ending, a new beginning is due.

Choo-Choo. Wheels turning, Steam hissing and puffing, Tracks clicking and clacking as the train of my heart passes by. Powered by love, Fueled by desire The coals of your beauty stoke up the fire. There's no end to this train, just chugging along. Though its destination is far, it'll travel all day, and all night long. It's loud whistle blew, saying "I've reached my destination, and it's you"

Clouds. That one looks like a dragon. That one looks like you. Now it doesn’t look much like anything, really.

The Jellyfish Oh, how I envy the jellyfish, Drifting aimlessly in the ocean's abyss. With no worries, no goals, no strife, Just floating through life. No deadlines to meet, no bills to pay, No pressure to succeed in any way. No need to impress or gain approval, Just swimming with the currents, so cool. No heartaches, no tears, no fears, No burdens to bear or troubles to clear. No need for love or human connection, Just living in a state of perfect reflection. Oh, how I long for such simplicity, To live life with such joyful lucidity. But alas, I am human, with my flaws and faults, A creature with desires, ambitions, and thoughts. So I'll watch the jellyfish from afar, Admiring their life from where I stand, And though I envy their carefree ways, I'll accept my own path, with all its demands.

Rain Raindrops fall from the sky, Tapping gently on the ground, A soothing sound that brings to mind Peace and tranquility all around. The air is filled with a sweet scent, As the rain washes away the dust, It leaves behind a fresh new world, Pristine and pure, it's a must. The morning dew that's left behind, Sparkles like diamonds in the light, It's a reminder of the beauty that lies, In the small things that make life bright. The rain brings with it a sense of calm, A chance to pause and just breathe, It's a time to reflect and be grateful, For all the blessings we receive. So let the rain come down and wash away, All the worries that weigh us down, For in its gentle embrace, we'll find, The peace and joy that we have found.
